His research interests focus on assessing the economic impacts of climate change and climate-related shocks on agriculture, adaptation strategies among farming households, econometric modelling, causal inference, and index-based agricultural insurance. He is also interested in the economics of climate change adaptation, including the quantification of adaptation costs and needs and the integration of climate risks, social equity, and gender considerations into public policy and economic decision-making.
At ARNECH, he supports field research, community engagement, data collection, and quality assurance across health, agricultural, and social science projects. His local knowledge and community networks contribute to rigorous and culturally sensitive research implementation, with a focus on generating evidence to support climate resilience and inclusive development.
