Data Science Unit

Harnessing statistical rigour and artificial intelligence to unlock insights from complex health data.

AIMachine LearningAI in HealthData Management

The AI & Data Science Unit sits at the technical heart of ARNECH, providing the technical and analytical foundation for all of the organisation's research activities. Led by Cheilla Izere , a trained biostatistician and AI professional with experience at Carleton University (Canada) and Centre Jean Perrin (France) , the unit delivers advanced statistical analysis and cutting-edge AI solutions tailored to health research contexts.

The unit is committed to making data accessible and actionable in low- and middle-income country settings, bridging the gap between frontier methodology and practical programme implementation.
